ADAMS PLANNING BOARD

A public meeting of the Adams Planning Board will be held at Town Hall, 8 Park Street, Adams, MA on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 7:00 PM.

The Planning Board is requested to review and approve materials to address conditions #6 and #7 in the Decision Notice of the Adams Zoning Board of Appeals dated December 3, 2013 (Case Reference Number 13-19), as follow:

·  The Applicant shall provide suitable financial surety, in form and amount acceptable to the Planning Board, adequate to ensure the site is stabilized and landscaped in the event construction is not completed satisfactorily. As improvements are completed, the Planning Board may allow a reduction in the amount of surety.

·  A vegetative “greenbelt” consisting of staggered rows of evergreen plantings shall be installed along the western edge of the project adequate to screen the project from abutting properties along East Road. The Applicant shall provide a planting plan for the greenbelt to be approved by the Planning Board prior to approval of a building permit.

The request for review of conditions is submitted by 217 East Road Solar Project Company, LLC for property located at 217 East Road and owned by Jeffrey M. and Carrie Loholdt.
