USAID-AIR-RISE
USAID RISE expanded its program of revitalizing, innovating and strengthening education to Bagh, and Muzaffarabad and Poonch districts of AJK after achieving great success in Bagh and Mansehra. Since 1990, RI has been meeting the immediate needs of victims of natural disasters and civil conflicts worldwide with provisions of food rations, clean water, non-food items, and emergency medical services. RI’s RED—Rapid Emergency Deployment—Team arrives in hours to affected regions with the primary focus of providing relief to the most vulnerable members of society: women, children, and the elderly. From the earliest stage of intervention, RI’s Emergency Response activities are designed to translate from urgent relief to long-term development for maximum community impact. Since October 2005 Relief international is carrying out its relief and rehabilitation activities in NWFP and AJ&K. With the donation of USAID and CNFA Relief international is currently working in Bagh Region with a project named “ILED” (Improving Livelihood Enterprise Development).
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To assist the Senior Human Resources Office (HRT) in providing a full range of human resources services.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment/Hiring
Provide assistance in all recruitment processes of RI Pakistan by
Assisting Managers and field HR staff in recruiting local national staff.
Ensure that recruitment procedures and standards are strictly followed and audit compliant
Prepare all recruitment documents, contracts, personal action forms, etcfor Mansehra Country office and check the ones sent from the field for accuracy
Keep updated records of contract end dates and liaise with managers 2 months prior the end of the contract
Keep organization chart (on the wall and electronic version) updated on a monthly basis
Orientation
Work together with HR Manager in developing a comprehensive orientation system for all national staff members
Organize orientation for all incoming national staff in Mansehra/ Bagh and, run yearly orientation sessions for all staff
Filing
Collect all HR related paperwork from the Mansehra and field offices and check for accuracy
Maintain and update personnel files for all staff members
Keep electronic filing records of Bagh/Mansehra staff on a monthly basis
Check electronic filing records from the field and compare them with the received paperwork
Information management
Update and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
Maintain and update HR database on a monthly and weekly basis as per need
Policy review and dissemination
Assist in the development and distribution of all new, translated and
Approved HR policies to all employees so as to ensure their familiarization with, and adherence to, such policies.
Assist HR Manager in grievance management, disciplinary action.

Assist HR Manager in welcoming international staff members and visitors
Collect orientation documents from international staff members and send originals to Partnership Office on a biweekly basis
Maintain international files in an orderly manner
keep electronic filing records of international files updated on a monthly basis
Maintain international leave records and keep it updated on a monthly basis
Reporting
Submit weekly/ monthly report to HR Manager
