AMANITA: WizOrder Authorization Database; Policies and Procedures
Purpose: Define a method by which users are authorized to access HEO Order applications.
General Information: AMANITA is a database of staff and their authorization in our clinical systems.
AMANITA can be accessed a couple of ways:
- Wiz Web resources:
User ID: wiz Password: order (these are case sensitive)
- Clinical Support Group Reference Manual:
The first two ways grants access to the training (green mushroom) or production (red mushroom) regions –the third is a direct link to production.
Procedure:
- Staff Attending Hearts and Minds Hospital Orientation: (includes all staff for Patient Care Services Departments and many others in the Medical Center.)
- The Learning Center will notify Systems Support Services of the employees scheduled for Hearts and Minds orientation per established procedures, proving name, SS#, unit/dept., and job title.
- SSS serves as the Security Administrator and the SSS Secretary will complete a User ID and Training Access Registration Form according to written guidelines, consulting the SSS Training Coordinator or Director as needed for any staff that fall outside usual categories. This form will be forwarded to the Systems Access and Maintenance Coordinator (SAM team) or designee in Information Management
- Registration Form denotes: Job Title, Unit/Dept., HEO Access including Role, Ancillary Department, and type of Wiz/HEO Privileges, Medipac, MARS, NOVA and HED. If information is missing or unclear, the form will be returned to SSS to be completed.
- The Systems Access and Maintenance Coordinator or designee in Information Management will assign the new employee a RACF User ID, and when appropriate (based on information on the form) will enter the user into AMANITA.
- AMANITA records will be set up as indicated on the Registration Form by the Systems Access and Maintenance Coordinator or designee in Information Management
- Functions
- If no HEO privileges are selected in AMANITA, a user will have only non order entry functions, such as viewing the HEO Census, accessing Web button information and printing certain documents.
- Look Up Orders
- Change Orders
- Training Mode- new trainees will be pre-assigned appropriate HEO functions but will also have training mode set to block use of these functions in production. This is de-selected by SSSonce they complete their check offs so they have full functionality. (does not affect HED)
- AMANITA servers will be automatically updated three times per day at 0615, 1215 and 1815. Any changes made in AMANITA between server updates will not be reflected in HEO until the next server update. A mechanism is in place to allow emergent updates to take place at any time, but this functionality is restricted to a small group of people.
- Comments will be entered for any special messages: i.e. the user fails competency check off; fails to attend class; or requires additional follow-up. Also should enter the date NEO class or WIZ training is completed and the Train only check is removed.
