You do not need to have a separate topic/title they can be the same.

Topic must be in the form of a question and be able to explain what your project is about.

# 1 Which brand of paper towel: Brawny, Bounty, Scotts, or Viva, will absorb the most water?

# 2 Which flavor of chewing gum: bubble gum, spearmint, cinnamon, or peppermint will last the longest?

# 3 Which brand of popcorn: Act II, Jiffy Pop, Healthy Choice or Pop Secret will leave the most kernels when popped?

Purpose

The purpose just says …. The purpose of my projects is to see ….. and put in title

# 1 The purpose of my project is to see which brand of paper towel: Brawny, Bounty, Scotts, or Viva, will absorb the most water.

# 2 The purpose of my project is to see which flavor of chewing gum: bubble gum, spearmint, cinnamon, or peppermint will last the longest.

# 3 The purpose of my project is to see which brand of popcorn: Act II, Jiffy Pop, Healthy Choice or Pop Secret will leave the most kernels when popped.

Hypothesis

Must be an If …. Then …. Because … statement.

# 1 If I test three brands of paper towels: Brawny, Bounty, Scotts, or Viva, will absorb the most water then I think Bounty will absorb the most water because the manager at Publix told me that is the best selling brand.

# 2 If I chew bubble gum, spearmint, cinnamon, or peppermint to see which flavor will last the longest then I think cinnamon will last the longest because Big Red is always sold out when I go to the store.

# 3 If I pop three different brands of popcorn: Act II, Jiffy Pop, Healthy Choice or Pop Secret to see which one will leave the most Kernels when popped, then I think Act II will have the most Kernels because when my family pops that brand there are always a lot of Kernels in the bottom of the bag.
