IoF ACADEMY QUALIFICATIONS
TRAINING BURSARY GUIDELINESAND APPLICATION 2018
The Institute of Fundraising South West Group aims to support individual members aiming to achieve the IoF Academy qualifications for the Introductionto Fundraising, the Certificate in Fundraising and the Diploma in Fundraisingthrough support and the provision of Training Bursaries of up to £50 for the Introduction to Fundraising and £600for the Certificate and Diplomatowards the training costs.
The £600 Bursary for either the Certificate in Fundraising or the Diploma in Fundraising will be given in the form of a pledge to lever other funding towards the training costs and will be payable directly to the Institute or other training provider once the full funding has been secured and you are able to proceed with booking the training course.
We will not fund:
- training that has already taken place
- internal training courses or courses not qualifying for IoF Academy qualifications
You will need to be an Associate Member or Full Member of the Institute to apply for the Training Bursary.
Individuals working for charities, Fundraising Agencies or as freelance fundraisers are eligible to apply for the Training Bursary but the priority will be on those individuals working for smaller charities. Those applicants working for charities with a voluntary income of over £2 million and all Fundraising Agencies will need to demonstrate that the organisations are also contributing towards the training costs. The Training Bursary must be repaid if the applicant does not complete the training for the qualification.
