Full Shot Screen Capture Tool

Email to General Accounting Instructions

NOTE: These instructions pertain to FullShot only - if you are using another screen capture tool disregard this page.

Open FullShot from your list of programs (if not installed, go to the software downloads page at https://software.muohio.edu/ and follow the procedures for installing FullShot).

These buttons will appear at the top right of your screen

S = Screen

W = Window

R = Region

B = Button

C = Command Bar

D = Document Auto-Scroll

From within the document that you want to use as supporting documentation for your Expense Transfer email request to General Accounting you should:

·  Left-click the “R” button on the Full Shot toolbar (your cursor will turn into a large plus sign)

·  Position your cursor at the upper left of the area you wish to copy, hold the left mouse button down and move the cursor to the lower right of the area you wish to copy, then release the mouse button

·  The Full-Shot preview window will open, at this point you may annotate the copied area with your notations for General Accounting

Annotate the copied area, if desired:

·  Click on the button on the Full-Shot toolbar, or select Tool from the Full-Shot menu command line and then select Annotate.

·  Make the necessary annotations to explain the transfer request and click the button on the annotation window.

Annotation Example:

ATTACH TO EMAIL: Right-click on the image and select “Save Image…”, then attach it to your email along with the expense transfer request and send to

PASTE INTO BODY OF EMAIL: Right-click on the image and select “Copy Image to Clipboard”, and paste the image from clipboard into your email, add any further remarks to the body of the email, and send to
