Numeracy Night
PTA/Title 1 Numeracy Night will be on
Monday, November 10th.
Parents will visit Math classrooms from 5:30-6:00 to hear about grade level expectations, tutoring opportunities/academic support, etc.
From 6:00-7:00 we will meet in the media center for a presentation by Julie Baumgardner from First Things First. Julie will be talking about “Parenting in the Digital Age”.
Pizza and drink will be provided in the cafeteria from 7:00-7:30 p.m.
Yearbook Sale
Yearbook sale begins Monday, November 10th.
Order forms will be sent home on Friday, November 7th.
Standard soft cover books are $25.00 and hard cover books are $30.00. There are several packages available to upgrade your book.
Order forms will have directions to order online or you may send your order in to school. If order is sent to school it must be sent on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY. Please pay with check or money order. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Receipts will be written for each order turned in at school.
6th Grade News
Parents of 6th grade students who attended the Technology Night and signed permission forms will see their child’s Ipads come home beginning November 3rd. If you were unable to attend, please come to Numeracy Night on November 10th to complete required forms.
Tutoring is available for 6th graders on Wednesdays in Math and Tuesdays and Thursdays for Reading/Language Arts.
7th Grade News
Tutoring in Language Arts is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15-3:30.
Tutoring for Math is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:45 am-7:15 am and Tuesday afternoons from 2:15-3:30.

8th Grade News
Tutoring is now available for 8th graders on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15-3:30 in room 6213 with Ms. Teresa Carter.

Halloween Dance
There will be a Halloween Dance on November 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00. Costumes are allowed but must be appropriate. Students in inappropriate costumes will not be allowed to attend. There will be a contest for best costume. Snacks will be available.
Red Bank High School Halloween Festival
Friday, October 31st from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm
Tom Weathers Stadium
RBHS student led clubs and athletics will be sponsoring booths that will give candy as prizes.
Corn Hole, Hoop Football, Face Painting, Pin the Boo on the Ghost, Musical Chairs, Plinko and many more!
Come out and support the Red Bank Lions Football Team! Tickets are $7.00 at the gate. 6 and under are FREE.
The games are free to all children ages 1-12 inside the stadium, but ages 7-12 must pay regular admission of $7.00.

School Fees Fees for 2014-15 are $50. If you are unable to pay it all at one time, feel free to make multiple smaller payments.
Grades/Attendance Parents, remember that you can access your child’s current grades and attendance on line. If you have misplaced the letter you received at the beginning of school with the directions and your individual passwords, please contact your child’s teacher for an additional copy.
Mandated 7th Grade Immunization Requirement The State of TN mandates updating immunizations before grade 7. Make sure a TN State Certificate was issued tothe school/nurse documenting the updates were given to your child. This is something that should have been taken care of prior to registration day for your 7th grader. Seek your doctor for any additional information or you can look it up on the TNGOV.com. Those who do not have the required TN Certificates turned inare liable according to the state of Tennessee.
