Competition Rules - Handicap
- A contact list is provided on the board for all entries with telephone numbers
- It is the responsibility of all players to make efforts to arrange and play the match by the deadline date
- The first named player will offer the second names player xx dates to play the match
- If the second named player has not been contacted and he / she has tried to make contact with the opponent then they need to contact the competition co-ordinator (name) on (number) no later than 1 full week prior to the match deadline date; you must be able to give the co-ordinator xx available dates in this conversation
- If the co-ordinator cannot make contact or get a conclusion then the second named player will advance to the next round
- The maximum handicap a player will receive will be no more than 50 even if player 1 has a handicap of +50 and player two's handicap is -20 (70 start), the start will still only be 50.
Singles Handicap
- All previous players will have a handicap from competitions already run, they may be adjusted by the co-ordinator dependant on timeframes
- Last year's players handicaps will be adjusted as follows:
Winner - Handicap reduction of xx points
Runner Up - Handicap reduction of xx points
Semi Finalists- Handicap reduction of xx points
Quarter Finalists- Handicap to remain the same ????
Second Round Loser- Handicap increased by xx points
First Round Loser- Handicap increased by xx points
Preliminary Round Loser- Handicap increased by xx points
Doubles Handicap
- All previous players will have a handicap from competitions already run, they may be adjusted by the co-ordinator dependant on timeframes

New Entrants
New entries will be given handicaps by the co-ordinator after a discussion has taken place regarding the players history within the game.
6. New players who enter the competitions will have their handicap assessed by the co-ordinator.
7. The maximum start any player will receive is 50. For example if your handicap is +40 and your opponent is -20 you will still only receive 50 start. 8. The snooker committee reserves the right to alter these rules at any time.
