To Submit New Grant, Modify Existing Grant, Enter Into a Sub-Contract or MOU
NOTE: Complete and submit this signed form to Cabinet ASAP!!!
Please note that written approval from President’s Cabinet is required before any grant (new or modification of existing grant), Sub-Contract or MOU can be pursued. To assist the Cabinet in fully understanding the grant, sub-contract or MOU to be pursued (and to help expedite the approval process), please complete the Request to Cabinet below, and provide clear, detailed and thorough information to all the questions AND obtain your supervising Dean’s and Vice President’s signatures.
NOTE: After the Request to Cabinet is signed and the grant written, but before a grant can be submitted to the donor, a Request for Contract must be submitted. As soon as possible, a Request for Contract – including a draft of the proposal NARRATIVE AND detailed BUDGET (both program and matching budgets) must be submitted to Executive Dean Henri MigalaNO LESS than 2 WEEKS before the proposal is due (so that the extensive signing-off process required at the college and the District does not delay submission of the proposal).

Responsible Dean and Vice President signatures are required before the request can be brought to Cabinet for final approval. Signature implies that the responsible Dean and Vice President understand completely the full range of implications associated with the grant program (including, but not limited to budgetary issues, impact on space, staffing, stipends and reassigned time).
FINAL SIGNATURE FROM THE PRESIDENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY GRANT, SUB-CONTRACT OR MOU CAN BE PURSUED AND SUBMITTED!
