The baseball team beat Garfield Heights 10-0. Jackson Shorter threw a two-hitter while striking out 11 batters.

Devon Thompson had three hits, 2 RBI's and scored two runs. Nathan Eckman and Taron Austin each had two hits.

HEY, Do You Like To Dance? Do you want to perform Halftime at Brush Varsity Football Games with the Band, if so- come to the Arcettes Informational Meeting, TODAY, Thursday May 5th in the Memorial Jr High Cafeteria from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Current dancers and their Coach will answer questions about what it takes to be an Arcette. Hope to see you there!

The Spring Buy-One-Get-One-Free Scholastic Book Fair will take placenext Monday through Friday, May 9-13in the library. You will be attending the fair with your Language Arts class.Remember to bring your money or a check made out to Memorial Junior High.

Attention all choir students: Turn in your Cedar Point payments and forms immediately. The deadline is on May 9th, but please try to get everything in by the end of this week! Show choir students who are not in a choir class, please submit your payments in the morning before 1st period.

Attention show choir students: Rehearsal today is from 3:15-4:00. If you have been missing rehearsals you may not be eligible to sing for Cedar Point. See Miss. Ballou with questions!

The criterion for any and all end of the year activities is: NO OSS from May 2 until the day of the event.

Attention 8th grade students: Please remember to bring back your completed permission slip for our zoo trip on Monday May 23rd. The last day permission slips will be accepted is Tuesday May 17th. If there are any questions, please contact Miss Butler.

Ms. DiCillo has two designer purses that were turned in to the lost and found before Christmas! If you think it may be yours- please come to the Student Center to claim your handbag!

Junior High athletes interested in participating in a fall sport next year at Memorial or Brush must have five passing grades at the conclusion of the fourth quarter. Make the most of the next 23 days and be eligible to participate in your favorite sport next fall!

The word of the day is: Democracy. Definition: A form of government in which power is held by all citizens, either directly or through elected representatives.

Students are to keep the following items in their securedlocker: All bags including book bags and shoe bags, electronic devices and accessories. There is no need for any of these items during the school day.

Students the expectation is that cell phones are turned off and secured in your lockers. The administrators & security will confiscate any cell phone and must be picked up by a parent. Teachers will not permit students to utilize cell phones, ear buds, or chargers in their class. All technology access must be through laptops, chrome books, or computer.

Students are expected to only go to your lockers at the beginning of the day, at lunch, and at the end of the school day. Have Terrific Thursday
