Sr. Janet (Francis Agnes) Voss


BIOGRAPHICAL: Sr. Janet Voss, also known as Sr. Francis Agnes, was born in Quincy, IL, entered the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in 1961 and made her religious profession in 1964. She received an associate’s degree from St. Mary’s College in O’Fallon, MO in 1969; a catechist certificate from the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 1982; and an associate’s degree in applied science from St. Charles Community College in St. Peters, MO in 1993.

SERVICE IN ARCHDIOCESE: Sr. Janet was a seamstress for 16 years in the Ecclesiastical Art Department in O’Fallon. She worked as an elementary librarian for 1 year at St. Monica School in St. Louis. For 6 years, she was a library stack room clerk at St. Mary’s Academy in O’Fallon. Sr. Janet worked at St. Charles Community College in St. Peters for 23 years first as a library stack room clerk and later as a librarian assistant.

ABOUT SISTER: Since 2010, Sr. Janet has been ministering as a volunteer and in prayer and presence at Villa Theresa in O’Fallon, MO. She likes doing family genealogy, sewing, crafts, spending time with family, shopping for bargains, reading, sight-seeing, exercise and walking.
