Agnes M. (Fusso) Anderson
(June 13, 1950 – December 17, 2005)
Agnes Anderson, 55, of Clark, died Saturday morning December 17, 2005 in a Clark Care Center following a 2 ½ year battle with ovarian cancer.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the United Methodist Church in Clark. The Rev. Warren Rhodes and Rev. Roger Shepherd will be officiating. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery near Clark in the spring.
Agnes Marie Anderson was born on June 13, 1950 in Redfield, SD to Anthony and Kathryn (Groft) Fusso. She attended school in Redfield. In 1968, Agnes completed her education and received her GED.
Agnes was united in marriage to Roger Anderson on June 16, 1966. The couple lived and farmed southwest of Clark. In addition to being a farm wife, Agnes assisted with the Clark FFA for many years, and also did substitute teaching in the Clark school system. She was a true friend and confidant to many of the students, she was a positive role model helping boost the students morale, while giving them courage and confidence to positively face the challenges and adversities of everyday life. The most important facet of Agnes’ life was to live each day to its fullest. Agnes was also a 4-H leader for a short time in Clark County. She waitressed at The Imperial and Hackett’s Steakhouse. Agnes especially enjoyed serving at the Clark Lions meetings, Lions Gun Raffles, and Pro Pheasant Banquets.
Agnes had many interests, some of which included sewing, shopping, traveling, spending time with her family and grandkids, going to the lake, riding in the boat.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Roger of Clark; her two children and their spouses, Bryce and Stephanie Anderson, Clark, SD; Lana and Lonnie Moyer, South Shore, SD; four grandsons, Cullen Moyer, Kodee, Anthony, Brandon Anderson; one sister, Charlene and Myron Ragatz, Aberdeen, SD; one brother Vince Fusso, Phoenix, AZ; her mother-in-law, Mary Anderson, Watertown, SD; a brother-in-law, Daryl (Pauline) Anderson, Doland, SD; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Dick) Lien, Watertown, SD; Gayle (Chuck) Koll, South Shore, SD.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents.
