Google Forms

Flubaroo (Chrome add-on)

  • You create the assessment using Google Forms
  • A Google Sheets doc will be created with the assessment results
  • Download Flubaroo add-on and it will grade it for you
  • You take the quiz using the name “Answer Key”
  • Look at your file for any questions that need to be hand graded (short answer responses)
  • Go to the Add-ons tab at top and choose Flubaroo and then choose the Grade Questions by Hand option
  • Read the student responses and assign the point value for their answer
  • Click on the Add-Ons tab and choose Flubaroo
  • Choose “Grade Assignment”
  • You will have two tabs at bottom
  • Student Responses
  • Grades
  • Review the results

Formative

  • Similar to Google Sheets
  • Differences:
  • You can make PDF/Docx interactive and input questions right on the document
  • You can make a picture file a background and then have students label etc.
  • You can also have a blank canvas for students to record answers
  • Live results as students work on their answers
  • You can grade short answer and Show Your Work answers manually
  • Excel file of results
