MISSION STATEMENT

Tech 1 Staffing includes, sensitive, personalized and professional care for individuals, families and communities. Tech 1 Staffing is a committed professional who have mastered a specific body of knowledge, which is used to care for individuals who possess like threatening conditions.

As a professional, chronic care nurse is required to possess a wide range of knowledge and skills to be used for continuous observation and intervention to move chronically ill individuals to a higher level of health.

A nurse values a holistic view of an individual and makes note of the fact that man is a bio-psychosocial being who is capable to make decisions and set goals for himself.

The professional nurse is responsible and held accountable for their actions and judgments.

The dialysis nurse process is a systematic process, which consists of assessment, interpreting, planning, implementing and evaluating.

A nurse involves being an effective patent advocate as well as respecting the patient’s rights, privacy, needs and their dignity.

Patient teaching is also an important role in the nurse’s profession. Sharing knowledge and vital information is necessary to provide continuity of care. Collaborating with other health care members and disciplines also provide good teamwork in providing quality care for the chronically ill.

The nurse is obligated to act professionally, ethically, and morally while giving competent quality care.

Question #1: Do you believe that the mission of your organization truly reflects what the organization actually does? Why or why not? Yes, the organization that I am hired with now has proven to be worthy of my services. This organization does what they state is on their mission statement.

Question #2: What impact do the mission statements in your group have on the employees in the organization? For example, are employees specifically mentioned in any of the mission statements? How is the impact felt? The employees are the nurses and as you can see we are mentioned through out the mission statement. We are great full to be part of an organization that treats us like a family.

Question #3: What impact do the mission statements in your group have on society at large? (This includes local, state, national, and even international society.) Well, I believe that this organization will better serve society because they are for the people. They are trying to accomplish one task at a time. Right now, that is the major issues that exist in the dialysis industry. This organization is small they are still working on the local level. Therefore I am unable to speak about state, national or even international society.

Question #4: For each of the mission statements, is the organization’s emphasis on: 1) people, 2) productivity, 3) money, 4) principle, or 5) some other emphasis? Who is the target audience for the mission statement? The target audience is the people, principle, productivity, and money. This is the reason why I wanted to be part of this organization; I wanted to be part of something much more then money. I want to be able to make a difference in people’s lives.

Question #5: Pick out "key words" in each statement that are meant to define impacts on social processes and/or society in some way. Key words are action words or phrases that set the tone for the statement. (Some key words are: ethics, profit, respect, community, vision, etc.)
