Race Day Registration at 7:15 am RAFFLE: Immediately after the Fun Run.

5k Run/Walk: 8:00am (might be in “waves” depending upon the amount of people)

Fun Run: Immediately after the 5k is complete (1-4 laps around the field)

Course: 5K: 12 FUN FILLED LAPS around the Crookshank track (while getting “Colorized”)

I know that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event. I acknowledge that I will be passing through a color zone where non-toxic colored powder will be thrown on me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of accepting my entry, I and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Crookshank Elementary School and St. Johns County Schools, all race volunteers and all sponsors, their representatives, employees and successors from any claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event or carelessness of the persons named in the waiver. Further, I grant to all of the foregoing the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

 Fill out and sign the registration form for EACH participant and send in the correct amount of money for all participants in your family. Check or cash is accepted. (one check or cash for a family is fine)

 WHITE T-SHIRTS will be given to each participate with a paid entry. Students and adults may wear tutus or any other fun run wear that you don’t mind getting color on. Our theme is BACK TO SCHOOL and BEING HEALTHY

 WEAR appropriate running shoes that you don’t mind getting “colorized”

The color zone will have volunteers who will throw non-toxic colored powder and/or wet color for each lap a participant completes. The color will be thrown towards the participants’ torso. The color zone can be bypassed if a participant does not wish to go through it.

The powder and/or wet color is not toxic and will probably wash out of clothing. However, we recommend that they participants wear clothing you don’t mind getting color on. We also recommend that participants bring a change of clothes and towel for the ride home.
