CLUB RULES AND REGULATIONS

AGE REQUIREMENT

The club is open to girls who were born on or after September 1st, 2003.

PRACTICE

Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at ST. Thomas Apostle, MsgrMulz Hall Gym located at the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 88th Street, Ozone Park NY 11416.

TOURNAMENTS

We will compete in threetournaments (minimum) and if we qualified we could compete on the Regional Championship. All Tournaments will be posted in our Website. Tournaments are all day event and could be on Saturday or Sunday. The time is usually from 8:00AM and could finish as late as 6:00PM depending on the number of teams and ranking of our team.

ATTENDANCE:

A player is expected to attend practice even if she cannot physically participate. You can acquire knowledge from watching and listening.

Missing practices for any reason will result in the action listed below:

TWO PRACTICES: (IN BETWEEN TOURNAMENTS)

Loss of starting position and or reduced playing time.

If a player expects to miss practice, a phone call to one of the coaches is expected prior to practice time, (this means before a coach would depart for practice) and at the player’s earliest convenience. Players are expected to be on the court at the scheduled practice time.

BEHAVIOR:No insubordination will be allowed. Cell phones must be turned off before practice starts and until practices are over.

EQUIPMENT:

  1. The nets and balls are borrowed and must be treated with care.

DUES:

It is crucial that payments are made on time. Please adhere to scheduled payment dates.

PLAYERS PRACTICE EQUIPMENT SHEET

THESE ITEMS MUST BE PRESENT AT PRACTICE.

  1. VOLLEYBALL SHOES OR CROSS TRAINERS
  2. KNEE PADS
  3. ONE SHIRT. WE DO NOT ALLOW LONG SWEAT BOTTOMS OR TANK TOPS AT PRACTICE.
  4. WATER BOTTLE. (NO SODA OR ICE TEA)
  5. SWEATS (WARM UPS)

ALL ITEMS MUST BE PLACED IN THE BAG AND AWAY FROM THE COURT.NOTHING IS TO BE LEFT ON THE GYM FLOOR.

The Tryout dates are posted on the Website.

Some Tryouts will be held at the HCJ Gym (111-00 86th Avenue, Richmond Hill NY 11418).

PARENTS MEETING:

If you have been selected to join the Jaguars Volleyball Inc. Club,you (player/parent) will be required to attend the signup meeting onSaturday 11/186:30pm @HCJSchool: 111-02 86th Avenue Richmond Hill, NY 11418

ALL DUES (FEES) ARE NON REFUNDABLE

TEAM PLAYER - $1000.00 - $600 due at signup and$400 due on 12/19 . There is a travel fee of $250 for overnight Tournaments that is not included on the Player fee and will be payable oneweek after selected to attend to that Tournament.

Signups:

Once you are selected to join the HCJ Jaguars Club you must fill sign out the forms listed below

  1. Must go to the GEVA site and register the player to GEVA and select HCJ Jaguars as the Club. Link is
  2. Once you are register in GEVA, you must sign in the USA Volleyball Medical release form. You can get it in this link if not available in USA volleyball site
