Target Audience
This program has been designed for physicians, residents and medical students in the medical specialties of internal medicine and all subspecialties.
Series Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
· Possess knowledge of the current state-of-the-art in other subspecialty fields and general medicine
· Provide care for common conditions incorporating the current understanding of disease concepts and therapies
· Possess increased awareness of the contribution of multimorbidity to health care deliver and cost
· Better coordinate with colleagues
· Possess knowledge of current guidelines for common medical conditions
· Review the reasoning behind the guidelines and possibly barriers in their implementation
· Use guidelines to help direct care for patients

· To describe the diagnostic approach to an abnormal chest CT scan
· To discuss the various therapeutic approaches to managing malignant pleural effusions
· To learn new novel and emerging treatments for COPD and asthma
