IF you have been diagnosed with Dermatographism or if your skin

“whelps” or makes a hive easily when lightly “scraped”, notify the

allergy technician BEFORE the testing date.

DIRECIONES PARA APPLICAR CREMA DE EMLA

Aplica la crema de EMLA ,greso, en la espalda del paciente dos horas antes

de la cita y tapa la espalda con plastico para que no se seca.

EMLA Cream (lidocaine 2.5% and prilocaine 2.5%) is contraindicated in patients with a known history of sensitivity to local anesthetics of the amide type or to any other component of the product. Also in patients taking Class I antiarrhythmic drugs (such as tocainide and mexiletine) since the toxic effects are additive and potentially synergistic

Allergic Reactions: Allergic and anaphylactoid reactions associated with lidocaine or prilocaine can occur. They are characterized by urticaria, angioedema, bronchospasm, and shock. If they occur they should be managed at the nearest emergency facility
