Job Purpose:
To pick, process, pack and despatch wholesale and over labelling orders daily. Liaising with other departments and providing a first class service to all of our customers, external and internal. Assistingwith stock control and stock takes. Working closely with our Customer Services & Relations department to ensure customers’ requests are dealt with promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering a first class service to all of our customers, external and internal.
- Packing customers’ orders for despatch daily to deadlines.
- Segregating parcels with different delivery requirements.
- Controlling NE + DH orders and making them ready for the courier.
- Loadingthe courier van each night.
- Ordering packing materials from Unit 1 warehouse.
- Checking and picking of customers’ orders to ensurethat the customer receives the correct product.
- Liaising with the Customer Services & Relations department over all matters relating to customers’ orders.
- Assisting with the management of the computerised stock control system.
- Assisting with stock rotation.
- Monitoring stock levels and expired stock.
- Matching invoices and address labels with orders picked.
- Producing courier address labels for customers’ orders.
- Receiving and booking in deliveries when necessary.
- Ensuring the general tidiness of the unit.
- Assistingwith stock takes.
- Temperature monitoring of the wholesale and storage areas.
- Checking the quantity of products to pack against each order.
- Printing delivery labels using the courier computer system.
- Assembling packing boxes ready for use.
- Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.
- Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within The Specials Laboratory.
- Observing and complying with cGMP.
- Observing and complying with company Health and Safety Policies.
- Observing and complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.

- Highly Desirable:
Experience gained within a Wholesale department or similar.
Fork lift truck licence.
Training:
You will receive on the job training and other specific training, as agreed and required.
