Week 1: July 5-7
Irish Dance and Culture (K / 1st)
(Brenna Dunnack – Kindergarten Teacher)
Have you ever wanted to learn how to Irish step dance? In this class we will learn some basic Irish dancing, read stories from Ireland, and write poems and stories about what we have learned. Come for one week or more to learn about Irish dance and the culture of Ireland.
Amazing Animal Habitats (K / 1st)
(Rachel Desocio – Reading Interventionist)
Come travel around the globe and get a glimpse of where a variety of animals make their unique homes. From monkeys in the Rainforest to scorpions in the Desert, students will participate in a number of hands on activities and games including the "blubber" experiment where they will get to learn how animals in the Arctic stay warm!
Week 2: July 11-14
Twirling and Ribbon Dancing (K / 1st)
(Agata Cavar – ESL Teacher)
Express yourself through music and movement as you learn a choreographed Dance Twirl and Ribbon Routine.Work with a partner or small group to createyour own routine with the skills that we will learn. We will have a showcase of our work at the end of the week. Batons and Ribbons will be provided.
Dinosaur Discovery (K / 1st)

Take a journey back in time to the Jurassic period where students will learn how the dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. Become a paleontologist by uncovering fascinating facts including creating your very own dinosaur fossil replica!
Week 3: July 18-21
Creative Cooking (K/ 1st)
(Erin Caron – 2nd Grade Teacher)
In this course, students will learn how to create a variety of kid-friendly snacks and drinks. Students will read directions and follow steps to create delicious recipes while also practicing other age-appropriate skills. Each student will write and illustrate their own recipe book to take home and share with others.
Reader’s Theatre (K / 1st)
(Sarah Roos – 4th Grade Teacher)
Students will focus on practicing fluency and public speaking through Readers’ Theater. Students will participate in the entire Readers’ Theater process, from reading their lines to prop creation to performances!
Week 4: July 25-28
Math Olympics (K / 1st)
(Brenna Dunnack – Kindergarten Teacher)
Are you ready to compete in the Olympics? During the Math Olympics, we will compete in teams to solve puzzles and problems. Earn medals with your team and learn more about the history of the Olympics!
Reader’s Theatre (K / 1st)
