Our Christian sympathies goto Sadie DeVries and Ann DeYoung whose son and brother, Floyd DeVries passed away on February 11, 2012. The funeral was held on Thursday, February 16. May God strengthen and keep this family during their time of mourning.

Bethel Community

BYPS will be meeting tonight at 7:00 pm at Bethel, t-shirt sales need to be turned in at this time.

Thank you to the congregation for your commitment to the building project.As of February 13, 2012 we have over $340,000 in monies and pledges. The construction plans are completed and will be submitted for State approval.We will be selecting bidders for the project at our next meeting.

To the parents of children who attend nursery: There will be a brief meeting today in the kitchen after church to discuss the layout of the new nursery. We would appreciate any input/suggestions you may have.

Bethel is scheduled to serve the hot meal at the Community Table this Friday, February 24th. Service Group #1is serving this meal and the serving schedule can be found in your mailboxes.

ALL Bethel Young People are invited to a Special Date Night Valentine's supper to be held at Bethel on Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:30 pm sharp! This year we are including Waupun 1st CRC youth group for this special event. Questions for our panel relating to dating/relationships and your RSVP for this night are due to Dave and Evonne by February 15th. Appropriate attire will be enforced. Parents ask how you can help.

Youth for Christ Bowlathon: Looking for a fun event for your small group? Like to bowl? Help Youth for Christ and their mission to reach out to area youth. On March 23rd and 24th YFC will be holding their annual Bowlathon fundraiser at Ledgeview Lanes in Fond du Lac. Teams of 5 people are asked to raise pledges and bowl 2 games all while having a great time together helping YFC in their ministry in the area. The event includes music, DJ and silent auction. Participants will be eligible for numerous prizes—including prizes for top team and individual fundraisers! Mark your calendars and save the date: Bethany Banquet on April 17, 2012. The Waupun Community will be hosting the 22nd Annual Bethany Banquet. This event is FREE to attend and EVERYONE is welcome. A home cooked dinner including dessert is served, a Bethany family will speak, and there will be entertainment. More info to follow.

Concert: First Reformed Church (422 W. Franklin St., Waupun) will be hosting a free concert of the Northwestern College A Cappella Choir concert on Monday, March 5that 7:00 pm. The three-part concert will include songs that express faith and trust in God in the face of suffering and injustice - including settings of two children's poems written in WWII's Terezin prison camp - as well as spirituals and the choir's traditional final song, "Beautiful Savior".

Community Day of Prayer will be held Friday, March 3rd at 1:00 pm at the United Methodist Church in Waupun. Pastor J. D. McCarty will be the speaker.Please plan on attending for a time of prayer and fellowship.
