* If your course fee remains unpaid within 14 days of the course date, you may be asked to pay by credit card to ensure a place on the course. You should then claim your fee back from your employers.

Terms and conditions

Course bookings A separate booking form is required for each delegate.Bookings are accepted by e-mail via the DLF website, by fax and by post. Telephone bookings will not generate a course reservation until written confirmation (e-mail, fax, or post) has been received.

Payment All fees will be invoiced at the time of booking and course places are not confirmed until payment has been received in full. A reminder will be sent 28 days before the course date (if applicable) to all delegates whose accounts remain unpaid. If the account remains unpaid 21 days before the course date, a second reminder will be issued asking the delegate to pay immediately. If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be cancelled and the course place may be made available to other students.

VAT All course fees are subject to the VAT rate current at the time of payment.

Cancellations-delegatesIf delegates are subsequently unable to attend a course and another date is unavailable, a cancellation must be received in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges will apply dependent on notice given:

  • More than 28 days prior to the course start date-no fee
  • Between 14-28 days prior to course start date-50% course fee
  • Less than 14 days prior to the course start date-full course fee

Cancellations- DLF TrainingOn occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require DLF Training to cancel a course. In these circumstances you will be given as much notice of the cancellation as possible by phone and/or e-mail and either a transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.

Non-attendance If you do not turn up for a course and do not inform us, the full fee remains payable

Late arrivals/missed sessions Course timings are clearly displayed on the course information. Delegates who arrive late, are absent for any session, or who wish to leave the course earlier than the stated time should appreciate that this will be recorded and that DLF cannot be responsible for any knowledge and/or skill insufficiency that may arise as a result. In the case of an accredited course, DLF reserves the right to defer delegates for accreditation if their attendance has not fulfilled the required criteria.

Delegates who require assistance While DLF Training welcomes delegates with disability or impairment, it is not our responsibility to ensure that they are supported during the course. We are happy to arrange support on receiving the appropriate information, but any fees incurred will be added to the course fee. Neither is it DLF Training’s responsibility to ensure that delegates are free from any condition that would affect their capability to undertake their chosen course and that they have the aptitude to cope with the required level of study.

Distance Selling Regulations 2000 DLF Training abides by the applicable elements of DSR2000

TrainersDLF Training reserves the right to substitute trainers to deliver courses where necessary. In these circumstances delegates should be assured that the learning outcomes, CPD application, accreditation (where applicable), structure and content of the courses will remain unchanged as a result. DLF Trainingemploys trainers directly and indirectly, all of whom have relevant skill, knowledge and experience in their chosen fields to recognised standards and who subscribe to DLF Training’s written policies and procedures.
