1.  Call to Order

2.  Approval of the Proposed Agenda

a.  After review of agenda the Board Members will make necessary changes and approve agenda accordingly.

3.  Approval of the Business Meeting Minutes of November 16, 2017

a.  The Board will review, amend, if necessary, and adopt the minutes.

4.  Complaint Committee Report

a.  Complaint Committee will present reviewed complaints and inform Board of current status.

5.  Continuing Education Committee Report

a.  Committee Chair will inform Board of recordings of current status.

6.  Review of PSI examination results

  1. Robin Bailey, Executive Director will report most recent stats from PSI Examination Services.

7.  Old Business

a.  Underground Utilities

  1. Board will discuss placement of underground utilities in new construction across the State of Maryland.

b.  Propane Gas

  1. Board will continue the propane gas discussion.

8.  New Business

  1. Board will discuss New Business if necessary.

9.  Correspondence

a.  Plumbing Inspector CEU Approval

  1. Board will discuss correspondence received by Gregory Schott, Chief Inspector, Hartford County on December 5, 2017, requesting the approval of Kelly Jones to receive 4.0 CEU hours for attendance at the MOSH Seminar training held on November 29, 2017.

b.  Backflow Instructor Approval

  1. Board will discuss correspondence received by Al Clinedinst, Training Director, Local Union 486 on December 8, 2017, requesting the approval of Richard Burda, ASSE certified as a Backflow/Cross Connection instructor.

10.  Counsel’s Report

a.  Counsel will inform the Board of current changes in the statute, regulations pending litigation, or any other matters as necessary.

11.  Chair’s Report

a.  Chair will address the Board as necessary.

12.  Executive Director’s Report

a.  Robin Bailey, Executive Director will inform the Board current events and changes that may need to be addressed.

13.  Executive Session

a.  Approval to enter into Executive Session

  1. Board will enter into a private session to discuss with Counsel the eligibility of license applicants and /or criminal convictions if necessary.

b.  Approval of the findings of the Executive Session of December 21, 2017.

14.  Adjournment

The next public meeting of the State Board of Plumbing will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
