Masters Division competes only at the District level – entrants do NOT advance. Everyone must compete in their own weight division except those who exceed the maximum weight. Weigh-ins must be done in your singlet.
Length of bouts: Intermediate, Advanced, Elite, and Open – three 1½ minute periods. All others – three 1 minute periods. Overtime – one 1 minute period followed by 30 second ride-out period if necessary.
Wrestling rules: Modified PIAA rules, PIAA officials will be used. EVERYONE must have PROOF OF AGE if challenged INCLUDING the person issuing the challenge.
Important: Once you have qualified for the regional tournament, you MAY NOT enter another district tournament. Anyone who does will be disqualified from advancing to the regional. Any entrant who falsifies information on an application to enter a district or regional MAWA tournament will be subject to a one year suspension from the program, effective immediately upon discovery.
Awards: Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each weight class. Ribbons for 4th place.
Uniform: One-piece singlet is REQUIRED. No T-Shirts or striped socks will be permitted.
Entry Fee: $25if mailed by Monday March 3rd, 2014. Do not mail application after 3/3 - bring it to weigh-ins.
Walk-ins *ARE* welcome - fee is $30.00. No call-in or email registrations will be honored.
Admission for spectators will be charged at the door.
Wrestling equipment will be on sale at the tournament. Hot food and snacks will be available throughout.

The top THREE place winners in this tournament advance to the Western Regional Tournament to be held 3/29 and 3/30 at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA. There is a $10.00 advancement fee to be collected at the District Tournament. Fourth place is an alternate.
The top FOUR place winners in the Regional Tournament advance to the MAWA’s Eastern National Championships on 5/3 and4at Wicomico Civic Center, Salisbury, MD. There is a $10.00 advancement fee to be collected at the Regional Tournament.
Fifth and sixth places are alternates.
