Subject: The ACT Plus Writing and ACT WorkKeys Assessment Dates
District Assessment Coordinators and High School Principals:
The dates for the 2014-15 administration of The ACT Plus Writing and ACT WorkKeys listed previously as “tentative pending contract negotiations” on the DPI website, have now been confirmed. Please use these dates for all scheduling and planning. ACT, Inc. only offers three Spring state administration dates each year. Wisconsin has chosen to participate in the earliest of these three testing opportunities to avoid scheduling conflicts with traditional Spring breaks throughout the state.
· The ACT Plus Writing will be administered on March 3, 2015 with a makeup date of March 17, 2015. Students with accommodations will test during the two week window of March 3-17, 2015.
· ACT WorkKeys will be administered on March 4, 2015 with a makeup date of March 18, 2015. Students with accommodations will test during the two week window of March 4-18, 2015.
We are also now releasing the following year’s ACT assessment dates to assist your districts in scheduling and calendar development.
· The ACT Plus Writing will be administered on March 1, 2016 with a makeup date of March 15, 2016. Students with accommodations will test during the two week window of March 1-15, 2016.
· ACT WorkKeys: March 2, 2016 with a makeup date of March 16, 2016. Students with accommodations will test during the two week window of March 2-16, 2016.
