D92 Athletic Assoc. Grade School Basketball Program
The District 92 Athletic Association welcomes all 1st - 6th grade students and their parents to another exciting season of youth Basketball. Our season begins with practices in October, and the season runs from November through February. Our new 1st/2nd grade program will be played October through December.
The District 92 Athletic Association is a not-for-profit organization that was formed to independently operate and finance a Basketball program for all 1stthrough 6th grade students currently enrolled in District 92. The Association works closely with District 92 Administrators and appreciates input and support from all staff members at the Walsh, Reed, Ludwig, and Oak Prairie Schools.

Coaches Meeting – Thur, Sept 14th from 7:30-8:30 at Oak Prairie (Mandatory for all Coaches)
Evaluation and Uniform Fitting Nights (Attendance Required for all Players):
3rdGrade Boys and Girls— Mon, Sept18th from 6:30-8:00pm at Oak Prairie
4thGrade Girls - Mon, Sept 18th from 6:30-8:00pm at Oak Prairie
4thGrade Boys -Tues, Sept 19th from 6:00-7:30pm at Oak Prairie
5th Grade Boys and Girls — Wed, Sept 20th from 6:00-7:30pm at Oak Prairie
6th Grade Boys and Girls — Thur, Sept 21st from 6:45-8:00pm at Oak Prairie
A sports physical exam is required to participate in our Basketball program. Children entering the 6 thgrade are exempt, as a physical exam is required for school itself. If your child has had a recent physical exam (after April 1, 2016), a copy of that form signed by your physician is acceptable. Please bring the form to Evaluation Night or send in with your child to the school nurse.
The fees for the 2017-18 Winter Basketball Program are as follows:
- 1st/2nd Grade (New Program) - $50 per participant – An 8 week developmental program that will include skill development and controlled 3-on-3 scrimmages. Includes a D92 basketball t-shirt.
- 3rd Grade - $140.00 per participant – An introduction to 5-on-5 basketball. Includes 1-2 weekly practices, regular season games, 3-4 tournaments, uniform and sweatshirt.
- 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade- $175.00 per participant. Includes 2 weekly practices, regular season games, 4 tournaments, uniform and sweatshirt.
***Each family is required to work 4 volunteer hours per child in the program (1st/2nd Grade is exempt). These volunteer hours can be filled by working concessions, admissions, scorebook or time-clock during the D92 Basketball Tournament in January2018.***
