Although the table above shows and upward trend in success rates in Dev Math compared to 2011, a huge disparity exists between NH and non-Hawaiians as depicted in the table below; 14 percent lower success for NH math 82 students and 11 percent for NH math 18 students vs. Non NH students.

ATD HSI Planning Committee

  • Samantha-Update- 2014 HSI Gone WILD: A Celebration of 50 Years of Excellence, March 7th & 8th at WINCC. 3/7-evening event to honor one of Wo brothers.
  • 77 UHMC faculty/staff registered-Expecting 700 to attend, 300 registered as of 2/12/14. Will include: 70 Workshops, 100 presenters

SAVE THE DATE! ATD Coach’s Site Visit at UHMC on 3/5/14 from 10:30AM-12PM-Bernadine Fong and Bill Pilland scheduled to attend. Reserving Ka‘a‘ike 105cd.

New! ACTION ITEM REQUEST- VCAA would like the SSC to look over ideas to use Pritt Foundation donation in support of student success. John can share cost parameters that will help us to decide what ideas are possible.

Idea: Work toward supporting an IT and/or IR positions at UHMC. Do we have justification and can we garner support from campus?
