Wasatch Wildflower Festival

July 16, 17 & 18, 2010

(Alta UT. June 2010) The festivities started quite some time ago when a few crazy Alta locals decided they needed an excuse to have a block party during the summer flower season. Years later, these efforts were organized and the Wasatch Wildflower Festival was born. The Wasatch Wildflower Festival is a now collaboration between the non-profits Alta Community Enrichment, The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and The Snowbird Renaissance Center. It is also supported by the efforts of Alta Ski Area, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.

The Festival's goal and mission is to provide a fun and encouraging environment for people to learn about the wide diversity of wildflowers that are found in the Wasatch Mountains and to not only celebrate the wildflowers, but show people how to take care of them.
