Penn Highlands Clearfield, a great hospital in western PA, is initiating a search for a Nurse Director for our Med-Tele/Surg-Peds/ECU Departments.

The ideal candidate will be BSN with a current PA license and three years clinical experience & previous leadership experience preferred. Will foster respect amongst employees, be organized, serve as a role model, & have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able to demonstrate competency to provide appropriate care to all age populations – pediatric through elderly. Involves family/significant other in plan of care. Responsible for 40 beds.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for coordinating the administrative and clinical activities for the nursing units. The manager is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all patient care activities, unit operation and staff functions.
