DIRECTIONS TO WEST END HOUSE CAMP

294 The Road Between The Ponds, Parsonsfield, Maine 04028

FROM MASSACHUSETTS, MAINE, and NEW HAMPSHIRE POINTS

From Massachusetts: Follow Interstate 95 North to Maine Turnpike. Take Exit #19 (Wells-Sanford). Go right onto Route 109 towards Sanford. Outside of Sanford go right onto Route 4 towards Alfred. Follow through Alfred and Waterboro. Follow to end, then turn left onto Route 5 North. Follow to Limerick. After Limerick bear right to stay on Route 5 North (do not veer left onto 160 North) for 3.5 miles. Go left onto Spur Road (keep careful watch for Spur Road, it is easy to miss!). Take first right onto Joe Berry Road, stay left at next two forks and intersections. WEHC will be on the right after you pass the lake (Long Pond).

An alternate route from Massachusetts – more scenic and bypassing the Maine Turnpike: On Route 95 North after passing over the Piscataqua Bridge in Portsmouth exit to Route 236 North (Berwick, South Berwick and North Berwick). Follow Route 236 North to South Berwick, go right (at Cumberland Farms store) onto Route 4 to Sanford and then to Alfred, Maine. Follow through Alfred and Waterboro. Follow to end and then turn left onto Route 5 North. Follow to Limerick. After Limerick bear right to stay on Route 5 North(do not veer left onto 160 North) for 3.5 miles. WEHC will be on the right after you pass the lake (Long Pond).

From north of Portland: Maine Turnpike South to Westbrook Exit #48. Right onto Route 25 West. Pass through Gorham, Standish, Limington. Come into Cornish, where you will travel a short distance with Route 5 South. In center of Cornish, go left onto Route 5 South when it branches off alone. Follow for about 3 – 4 miles, taking second road on right (first road should be marked Roland Day Road, second road – which you want – should be marked Long Pond Road. It is almost a blind drive between two fields). Follow Long Pond Road until you come to a stop sign (about a mile or so). At stop sign, with boarded up house on right, go right. You are on Road between the Ponds.Follow for about half mile. WEH Camp is 294 Road Between the Ponds on the right after you pass the lake (Long Pond).

From Portland: Pick up Route 25 West and follow directions above.

From Saco area: Get onto Route 5 North. Follow to Limerick. Stay on Route 5 when leaving Limerick. 3.5 miles from Limerick go left onto Spur Road. Half mile later take right (your first right, Joe Berry Road). Stay left/bear left at next two intersections. West End House Camp will be on the right after you pass the lake (Long Pond).

From New Hampshire: Take Rt. 25 East from Ossipee area. Make a right on Route 160 South. Go approximately 3-4 miles and make a left onto Mudgett Rd. Go to end and make a right onto Elm St. Make your first left onto Pendexter and then after ¼ mile a right onto the Road Between the Ponds. Go about a mile and WEHC will be on your left.

Street signs have been known to be down at times, so please be aware of this.
