From the North (via M5)

Leave the M5 at junction 30.

Take the third exit (A379) and follow the route to the St. Luke’s Campus as shown on the following map.

Where the road forks between Magdalen and Heavitree Roads, remain on Heavitree Road. St. Luke’s Campus will appear on your left, opposite the Police Station on your right.

Further down this road, as you approach the roundabout (opposite the Pyramids Swimming) will be a car park on the right.

From the West (Via A30)

Leave the A30 at the Dawlish and Marsh Barton turning.

Turn left at the large roundabout into Alphington Spur, which becomes Alphington Road.

You will pass through several sets of traffic lights, pass under a railway bridge, over more traffic lights and then up to a very large roundabout. Leave at the 4th exit for the inner city bypass. As you head to a main set of traffic lights be in the middle lane and follow the road straight ahead until you get to another roundabout. Take the last exit to Heavitree Road.

The car park will appear quickly on the left and the St. Luke’s campus will be at the top of the small incline on the right.

Car Parking

Parking is not available on the St. Luke’s Campus unless you are a blue badge holder. The nearest car park (the Triangle Car Park) is a 5 minute walk from the campus, opposite the Pyramids swimming pool at the city end of Heavitree Road (https://exeter.gov.uk/car-parking/car-parks/find-a-car-park/).

Arriving by Train

Exeter has 3 train stations: Exeter St Davids, Exeter Central and Exeter St Thomas. Only Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central are main line stops. Exeter Central is closer to the St Luke’s campus, about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Information at the station will direct you to the Heavitree Rd., where the campus will be located at the top of the incline on the right – opposite the police station. Taxis will also be available from the station.

For those arriving at Exeter St Davids, it is advisable that you get a taxi. The walk is about 30 to 40 minutes. Please note that the signs outside the station directing you to the University will be for the Streatham campus not St. Luke’s.
