From the Metro (train)

Take the Red Line to the Brookland-CUA exit. After passing through the turnstiles, go towards the left side exit. At the top of the escalator you will see a street running parallel to the train. That is John MacCormack Road (JMR). Cross it and walk up the street that dead ends into JMR. It goes up a mild hill. It is surrounded on the left and right by light-colored brick buildings that look like they were built in the 1960’s. The one on the left is Gowan Hall (Nursing). The one on the right is Pangborn (Engineering). Continue up the hill on the Pangborn side of the street and pass Pangborn. You’ll see a small stop sign. Turn right and walk past the side of Pangborn (which is on your right) and past another building (on your left). That is the architecture building (Crough). Continue walking past Crough. Past it is a very new building, brick and glass. That is the Pryzbyla Center. (Pronounced “priz-bill-uh”…but we all call it “the Pryz.”) If you get lost at any point on campus, ask to be directed to the Pryz. As you near the Pryz you’ll see a grassy area and a newish looking building to your right. That is the law school. Proceed to the middle of the Pryz, where on your left you’ll see a main entrance. Enter there.

You’ll pass a second traffic light. At the third, turn right into the circular drive in front of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (very large cathedral). About half-way through the driveway, as it starts curving left, turn at a slight angle to the right and then left so you are proceeding alongside the Shrine’s right side. On your right will be a big grassy mall. At the end of this mall area is a stop sign, and on your right is a large traditional looking administrative building named McMahon Hall. The parking lot you’ll be heading towards is directly behind McMahon. Continue past McMahon and bear slightly right around a small circle. Then turn right towards the parking lot at the rear of McMahon.
