From the North (Weddington)
From intersection of Hwy16 South (Providence Road) and Hwy 84 (Weddington Road) head east onto Hwy. 84 (Weddington Road), continue 4.3 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto Waxhaw-Indian Trail Road, continue 2 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Shannon Road, proceed to the stop sign.
At stop sign, turn RIGHT onto Pleasant Grove Road.
Turn LEFT into Copper Run subdivision.
From the East (Monroe)
Head west on Hwy 75 (Waxhaw Hwy) toward Mineral Springs
Turn RIGHT at Potter Road S., continue .6 miles.
Bear LEFT at Pleasant Grove Road, stay on Pleasant Grove Road for 2.4 miles, turning left at the Pleasant Grove Campground to stay on Pleasant Grove Rd.
Turn LEFT into Copper Run subdivision.
From the South (Mineral Springs)
Head north on Potter Road S. from intersection with HWY 75 (Waxhaw Hwy)
Bear LEFT at Pleasant Grove Road, stay on Pleasant Grove Road for 2.4 miles, turning left at the Pleasant Grove Campground to stay on Pleasant Grove Rd.
Turn LEFT into Copper Run subdivision.
From the West (Waxhaw)
From the intersection of Hwy 75 (South Main Street) and Hwy 16 (N. Broome Street), head north on N. Broom Street (427 feet)
Take the 2nd right onto Howie Mine Road and continue onto Waxhaw Indian Trail Road S., continue 1.9 miles
Turn RIGHT at McNeely Road, .1 mile
Take an immediate LEFT around the Waxhaw Bible Church onto Pleasant Grove Road, continue 1.2 miles
Turn RIGHT into Copper Run subdivision.
From Charlotte:
I-77 South to I-485 E (exit 2)
Exit 57 onto HWY 16 South (Providence Road).
Turn RIGHT at the top of ramp towards Weddington, proceed 2.5 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Hwy. 84 (Weddington Road), continue 4.3 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto Waxhaw-Indian Trail Road, continue 2 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Shannon Road, proceed to the stop sign.
At stop sign, turn RIGHT onto Pleasant Grove Road.
Turn LEFT into the housing development Copper Run.
Once you are in the Copper Run subdivision, take first RIGHT and head up the hill and around bend to the left.
PARK along the street, ceremony and hike begin at top of hill, where road dead-ends. For ADDITIONAL PARKING, turn LEFT at the hike site and park along that street.
