DIRECTIONS FROM BINGHAMTON TO BARTON HALL

Take Route 81 north and exit at Whitney Point. Look for signs for Route 79. Take Route 79 west to the outskirts of Ithaca. Look for Pine Tree Road (at a flashing yellow traffic signal) and turn right. Proceed straight until Pine Tree Road intersects with Dryden Road (Route 366) at a four-way stop. Turn left onto Dryden Road; enter the Cornell campus just ahead, via Hoy Road. Proceed to the first stop sign (the intersection of Campus Road and Hoy Road). Make a right turn. At the next intersection, go left onto Garden Avenue. Look for the east entrance to Barton Hall on the left.

Directions from Syracuse/SyraCUSE airport

TO ITHACA (GENERAL)

Take Route 81 south about 30 miles. Leave Route 81 at exit 12 (a sign indicates it’s the exit for Ithaca) and go to end of ramp and highway leading away from Route 81. Make a left turn onto Route 281. Proceed along 281 until it becomes Route 13. Travel on Route 13 to downtown Dryden; make a right turn and continue on Route 13 about 10 miles to Ithaca.

TO Barton hall on the cornell campus

(See directions from Syracuse above.) After traveling about 10 miles from Dryden on Route 13, make a left turn onto Route 366 (look for the large New York State Gas and Electric building on the left before the turn). Continue on Route 366 to Cornell. Enter the campus via Hoy Road and proceed to the first stop sign (the intersection of Campus Road and Hoy Road). Make a right turn. At the next intersection, go left onto Garden Avenue. Look for the east entrance to Barton Hall on the left.

TO COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT ITHACA

Take Route 81 south about 30 miles. Leave Route 81 at exit 12 (a sign indicates it’s the exit for Ithaca) and go to end of ramp and highway leading away from Route 81. Make a left turn onto Route 281. Proceed along 281 until it becomes Route 13. Travel on Route 13 to downtown Dryden; make a right turn and continue on Route 13 about 10 miles to Ithaca. On the outskirts of Ithaca, look for Warren Road and make a right turn. Look for the sign for Tompkins Regional Airport and go right. At Thornwood Drive, go right and proceed until you see the Marriott on the right.

TO HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON

Take Route 81 south about 30 miles. Leave Route 81 at exit 12 (a sign indicates it’s the exit for Ithaca) and go to end of ramp and highway leading away from Route 81. Make a left turn onto Route 281. Proceed along 281 until it becomes Route 13. Travel on Route 13 to downtown Dryden; make a right turn and continue on Route 13 about 10 miles to Ithaca. On the outskirts of Ithaca, look for Warren Road and make a left turn. At the first intersection, turn right onto Uptown Road. Proceed on Uptown until you see Homewood Suites on the left.

TO HILTON GARDEN inn (Downtown)

(See directions from Syracuse above.) Proceed on Route 13 and travel down a hill; you’ll see Cayuga Lake on the right. Beyond the bottom of the hill, Route 13 becomes one way. Turn left at Buffalo Street (first street past Court Street). Drive half a mile to Tioga Street and turn right. At next intersection, turn right onto Seneca Street. The Hilton is on the right.

DIRECTIONS FROM ITHACA AIRPORT

TO BARTON HALL ON THE CORNELL CAMPUS

Leaving the airport, make a right turn. At the traffic light, go left onto Warren Road. Continue straight on Warren Road until you reach a T intersection at the bottom of a hill. At the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, make a right turn. At the next stop sign, make a left turn; cross the one-lane bridge and then turn left at the next stop sign onto Judd Falls Road. Proceed to the next stop sign and go right onto Tower Road. At the next stop sign, go left onto Garden Avenue. The east entrance to Barton Hall is on the right, about half a block further.

TO COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT ITHACA

Exiting the airport, go right onto Brown Road. Look for Thornwood Drive on the left and make a left turn. Proceed on Thornwood until you see the Courtyard by Marriott on the right.

TO HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON

Exiting the airport, go right onto Brown Road. At the traffic light, go left onto Warren Road. Proceed through the intersection of Warren Road and Route 13, and about a block further, make a right turn onto Uptown Road. Stay on Uptown until you see the hotel on the left.

TO HILTON GARDEN INN (DOWNTOWN)

Leaving the airport, make a right turn. At the traffic light, go left onto Warren Road. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Route 13. Proceed on Route 13 and travel down a hill; you’ll see Cayuga Lake on the right. Beyond the bottom of the hill, Route 13 becomes one way. Turn left on Buffalo Street (first street past Court Street). Drive about a half mile to Tioga Street and turn right. At next intersection, turn right onto Seneca Street. The Hilton is located on the right.

Directions from HILTON GARDEN INN to Barton HalL

Shuttle service is available to campus. If you decide to drive to campus, turn right when exiting the parking garage onto Tioga Street. At the first intersection, turn right onto Buffalo Street and proceed up the hill. At the flashing yellow light, turn left onto Stewart Avenue. Beyond the bridge turn right onto Campus Road. Continue on Campus Road and turn left at Garden Avenue. Look for the entrance to Barton Hall half a block further on the left.

DIRECTIONS FROM COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT ITHACA TO BARTON HALL

Leaving the hotel, make a left turn onto Thornwood Drive. At the intersection, go left onto Brown Road. At the traffic light, go left onto Warren Road. Proceed on Warren about six blocks until you reach a T intersection at the bottom of a hill. At the stop sign, make a right turn. At the next stop sign, make a left turn; cross the one-lane bridge and then turn left at the next stop sign onto Judd Falls Road. Proceed to the next stop sign and go right onto Tower Road. At the next stop sign, go left onto Garden Avenue. The east entrance to Barton Hall is on the right, about half a block further.
