Directions to CDP Advanced Responder Training Complex
From Oxford, AL (I-20, exit 188) via first McClellan exit
Travel on the Leon Smith Parkway/Golden Springs Road/Anniston Eastern Bypass for approximatelyfor approximately 4.2 miles. At the bottom of the mountain at the first McClellan exit turn right onto Iron Mountain Road and continue approximately 3.0 miles. At the 4-way stop stay straight and the road will end. Turn left onto Pappy Dunn. Continue on Pappy Dunn and turn right onto Freemont Road (3rd road to the right). Continue on Freemont a short distance and turn right onto Wall Street (2nd road to the right). Parking lot will be on your left.
From Oxford, AL (I-20, exit 188) via second McClellan exit
Travel on the Leon Smith Parkway/Golden Springs Road/Anniston Eastern Bypass for approximately for approximately 5.2 miles. At the second McClellan exit turn right onto Iron Mountain Road.At the stop sign turn right onto Summerall Gate Road. Travel on Summerall Gate Road for approximately one mile. Turn left at the Aquatic Center to continue on Summerall Gate Road.At the traffic circle you will take the third exit onto Baltzell Gate Road. Continue on Baltzell Gate Road and turn right onto Federal Way (1st road to the right). Continue straight on Federal Way, past theDaycare on your left. Continuing on Federal Way, the FEMA Noble Training Facility will be on your right, please DO NOT STOP here.Turn right onto Goode Road. Travel for one block and turn right onto Freemont Ave. Continue straight on Freemont for two blocks and turn left onto Wall St. Parking will be on your left.
From Anniston/Oxford via AL Highway 21 through downtown Anniston (Baltzell Gate entrance)
Travel on AL-21/Jacksonville State University Hwy/Quintard Drive/McClellan Blvd through downtown Anniston. You will pass Wal-Mart, Arby’s, Jack’s Restaurant, and a Chevron Gas Station on your left. At the next traffic signal, will be the Baltzell Gate Entrance to McClellan. Make a Right and enter through Baltzell Gate. Follow Baltzell Gate Road past the Cane Creek Golf Course Club which will be on your left. As you pass the club house, bear to the left at the fork in the road. The golf course will be on your left. Turn left onto Federal Way. Continue straight on Federal Way, past the Daycare on your left. Continuing on Federal Way, the FEMA Noble Training Facility will be on your right, please DO NOT STOP here. Turn right onto Goode Road. Travel for one block and turn right onto Freemont Ave. Continue straight on Freemont for two blocks and turn left onto Wall St. Parking will be on your left.
Anniston/Gadsden via AL Highway 431
Travel on US 431 South. At the Anniston Eastern Bypass take the Anniston/Jacksonville exit (1st exit) turn right onto AL-21/Jacksonville State University Hwy/Quintard Drive/McClellan Blvd. You will pass Lowe’s on your right. Continue straight on AL-21/Jacksonville State University Hwy/Quintard Drive/McClellan Blvd. passing Wal-Mart, Arby’s, Jack’s Restaurant, and a Chevron Gas Station on your left. At the next traffic signal, will be the Baltzell Gate Entrance to McClellan. Make a Right and enter through Baltzell Gate.
