DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Required for September 2016

Salary: Group 2, Leadership 4 – 8 (depending on experience)

NOR: 210 (plus a 52 place Nursery)

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Headteacher to work with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a committed practising Catholic with leadership experience; have an excellent understanding of Catholic education and a clear vision and drive to help move the school forward.

We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who:

·  is a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith, able to share in leading, promoting and developing the Catholic ethos of the school;

·  has a passion for learning and is an outstanding, inspirational and creative teacher who has high expectations of themselves and of pupils;

·  is an excellent communicator who relates well to others and is welcoming, enthusiastic and flexible;

·  has a supportive leadership style and is able to lead by example;

·  will be able to take a strategic lead role in curriculum development, staff appraisal and school self-evaluation in partnership with the Head Teacher;

·  is a Designated Safeguarding Officer or willing to undertake the relevant training and is committed to the safeguarding of all children.
