Contact a Family support families whatever their child’s disability of health condition. They provide life-changing support and advice via a wide variety of services including: a helpline, parent support groups, medical information and family fun days and outings. The money raised on Dinosaur Day will help transform the lives of families of disabled children.

Craig and Lynette Mathieson’s son Cameron inspired Dinosaur Day. He had Cystic Fibrosis and Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy which was a devastating combination but he never complained and had the most amazing spirit. Cameron sadly died in 2012 and the family have been holding ‘Dowser days’ (Cameron couldn’t say the word dinosaur so said the word dowser) on his birthday every year. They say “It can be hard and lonely caring for a disabled child and the support of Contact a Family can make a real difference”
