Different ways lead people to school, and also different is their destiny at school ... Someone sees school as his mission and from his childhood goes to his aim definitely, and someone comes to school by chance ... Frankly speaking I refer to the latter.

Starting to learn English at school, I immediately fell in love with the subject. It was easy for me, and feeling my success, I knew that my future life would be connected with this language. And though I entered Foreign Languages Department of Orsk Pedagogical Institute, my thoughts were not about school. I’d rather saw myself in the profession of an interpreter. However, sometimes life collisions lead us on the road, which we haven’t drawn in our dreams ... My own road led me to the Elizavetinskaya school. And after a while, I realized that by coming here, I touched the great work, interesting, but at the same time extremely difficult. Indeed, the complexity of the teacher's work is that he does not only have to teach children, but also to find the path to each student’s heart, to create the conditions for the personal development of his students. In my teaching practice, everything happened: delight and satisfaction of my own success and the success of my students, but sometimes I was upset by the fact that something did not work or was not perceived the way I liked it to ...

Everyone, reflecting the meaning of life, is a philosopher. Teacher is twice as that, because this profession - one of the most responsible. The teaching profession like no other, is working for tomorrow. The teacher grows up the future scientist, a soldier and a lawyer, doctor and a builder. He forms the basis of their knowledge. And what is more important – he teaches them to be human.

People have different understanding of the role of the teacher. Some see it as a teacher of the subject, the other ... I can see the teacher, tutor and mentor people, contributing to the formation of the student's personality. In my classes I try to be with the students as with equals, remembering that my every wrong step or casually spoken word is absorbed by my students and as a teacher, I cannot imagine myself without constant improvement, as I should be the model for my students. "Nothing is so firmly remembered by the students, as the mistakes of their teachers."

I know and love my subject, it’s interesting for me to prepare for my lessons, to find new methods and introduce new technologies. The introduction of - ICT to school education gave a new impetus to the teaching of English, and I am pleased to master and actively apply them in my classroom. And in telling my students about the sights of London, British history or family tree of British monarchs I turn on the bright, colorful presentation and see how much easier they understand the material.

And I love my students. I am happy when they are looking forward to my lessons, but it is more important for me that I look forward to seeing my students. I try to do my best to teach them not only know the basics of English grammar, and culture of the people, but also to help each of them to know themselves, to self-determinate and to self-realize, to give them the opportunity to discover their abilities. But my students also teach me a lot. Working with children, you learn from them the ability to perceive the world as good and bright.

I am a teacher of English. It’s naïve to think that my task is only to teach my students the "practical communication in a foreign language," though it will help them to understand the world. But I see my task in teaching them creativity - the ability to create something new and to bring it into this world. At my lessons, I try to develop this quality, I teach my students to see things from a new perspective, to look for unusual ways to use simple things.

And life goes on. And every day it asks the student and teacher of the eternal, painful questions: "Who are you? What are you doing here? For what?" To answer them, few textbooks and methods can help, and it was a thousand years ago, as it is today and as it will be in the future Life is the only teacher and reality in which live, think and act. Modern life requires us to be mobile, and sometimes even cruel in order not to dissolve in this troubled and uncertain world, not to become faceless. And this I also teach my students.

Perhaps, in life there are no coincidences, and when I came to school, then so it had to be...
