Did You Know That We All Have a Guardian Angel?

Did you know that we all have a Guardian Angel?

Sometimes people have more than one Guardian Angel, and sometimes we have Angels that work with us for specific lengths of time – whether that is during a major life event or certain life phase.

We are always accompanied by our Angels – who are ready to help in any situation – we just need to remember to ask them!

I am really lucky to know and be in touch with both of my Guardian Angels. My personal Guardian Angel is named Jebidea, and he has been working with me, by my side, all of my life. I see Jebidea as a kind, youngish blonde haired male Angel, who I have a gentle rapport with. He whispers quietly in my ear, and has given me positive direction – I often feel like he spends a lot of time with his head in his hands, but hey, we’re only human! I first became aware of Jebidea around the year 2000, when my spiritual studies really accelerated, and it was through his connection to me that I began to learn and understand the Angelic realm.

I’m also blessed to have a second Guardian Angel, and I have to say that he is very different, in many ways, to Jebidea. My second Guardian Angel is actually the Archangel Michael.

During the year 1998 I was living in Cardiff, going through yet another really hard time. I was living away from my family, with my twin sister, feeling disconnected from my Mom and other sisters, as I felt unable to return home, due to my Father’s abusive behaviour. I had recently graduated, was practically penniless, utterly directionless and had just split from my boyfriend, and was working in a grim dead end job; it wasn’t a pretty picture. Anyhow, one night I went to bed, utterly dejected, and broken as usual, feeling once again that there was just no hope. During my sleep Archangel Michael visited me in my dream – it was 18 years ago, but I still remember it, as if it were last night.

He stood in front of me with long dark hair and white robes, and he told me his name was Michael. He said….

‘I am Michael. I am by your side. I am with you through the darkness, and no matter how hard it gets, know that you are never on your own. I am here.’

As I said, I can still hear those words, and see that image, as if it happened last night. The words were so powerful that even years later, when remembering the encounter it would bring me to tears.

But surprisingly, my life didn’t change then. It didn’t get better, it actually got a whole lot worse. The next few years included returning to the West Midlands to try and deal with the family situation. Then, finally running away with my Mom and sisters to a Women’s Refuge and literally having to start from scratch when the situation became untenable. I see now that Archangel Michael was with me then, and my loved ones – even though it didn’t feel like it at the time. All I had to do was ask for help – but I just didn’t know it.

As I said earlier, in 2000 I started to work deeper with Angels, learning about them, their methods of communication, their hierarchies and their gifts.I learned that all Archangels have specific skills in certain life areas, and naturally felt a special connection to Archangel Michael (known as the ‘Right Hand of God’) who is particularly helpful in bringing protection, safety and courage to a person or situation. I finally made the connection, and realised why he initially appeared to me, with that message of reassurance – even though it took me years to make see the link, and understand that this was the same Angel who had visited me. He is also the Archangel who guides people on their Divine Life Path, and believe me when I say that he has been working with me, solidly by my side for probably the last 10 years, during some very tricky times, when I have let fear hold me back, and shape my life choices – resulting in many hard lessons and moments of resistance.

One of the fabulous things about Archangel Michael is that he is multi – dimensional, he is not constrained by the norms of three dimensions, like we are, so he can literally be in all places at once. This is why I don’t feel guilty, or unworthy for having him by myside – and for asking for help. I’m not taking his help away from anyone else – he is capable of helping all who ask of it, at the same time.

I work with Archangel Michael daily, in protecting the energies of myself and my loved ones, when giving Angel card readings, in cutting chords of negativity and clearing pathways through situations, and in guidance for my Divine Life Path. The amount of times that his Oracle card appears to me during my personal readings is beyond co-incidence, and his intervention often defies logic.

In fact I often use a specific Archangel Michael Oracle deck, whose no – nonsense, ‘cut the crap’, direct energy really helps to get to the root of any situation queried. Obviously, this deck is only used with my more emotionally robust clients!
