DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Group (formerly DaimlerChrysler Services) is a leading global provider of financial services. This division of automaker DaimlerChrysler AG operates from more than 100 locations in 39 countries. Through its Chrysler Financial and Mercedes-Benz Credit arm, the division finances the inventories of DaimlerChrysler-brand automobile dealers; DaimlerChrysler Financial Services also finances the auto purchases of individual consumers. DaimlerChrysler Services Truck Finance handles the financing of commercial vehicles.
DaimlerChrysler Financial Services is today one of the world's largest financial service providers outside the banking and insurance sectors. Flexible financial plans customized to suit the requirements of individual customers of all vehicle brands within the DaimlerChrysler Group and cross-brand fleet management are the main services offered by the Financial Services division. Berlin/Beijing, November 2 2005.– DaimlerChrysler is the first automotive company in China to provide customer and dealer financing for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, the finance unit of DaimlerChrysler Group, started its business operations in China with the official opening of the new company DaimlerChrysler Auto Finance (China) Ltd. (DCAFC).
