Future Engineers is issuing an 8th grade Biomimicry Challenge and we’re excited for William S. Hart Union District students to participate! Working in teams students will brainstorm, research, and create a video explaining how an organism in nature has inspired or could be used to improve an existing man-made design or technology. The challenge will launch on October 2, and entries are due on October 21. The winning student team will receive $50 Itunes gift cards per team member, all participants will get an ice cream social. If this is something that interests you contact Mr. McCleary in room 402. The first meeting will be held after school on Wednesday 10/5 in room 402.
