Desserts, The Edgar Cayce Gelatin Salad, and Jello!

We all like sweets. And there is nothing wrong with sweets. As long as they're healthy sweets. And eat in moderation. We you snack, make healthier choices and you'll live better and longer. The healthiest snack of all is nature's snack-fruits. As well you can munch on soaked nuts and seeds. (Soaked nuts and seeds are available at: You may also spread some soaked almond butter which you may find on a webpage, or you may make your own not butters with your juicer or Vita Mix, (juices in the Vita Mix available on a webpage), and spread that on celery. Another great idea is to peel the stalks of broccoli, place them in a glass mason jar, cover with filtered water, place a top on, put in the refrigerator and allow to soak for 24 hours-The soaked broccoli stalks become sweetened and absolutely crispy delicious delightful treats. Of course you may be inventive and come up with many healthy desserts of your own.

Recall from an earlier part of the course that gelatin is one of the most powerful foods you may eat. Edgar Cayce was particularly fond of mixing fruits and vegetables in a gelatin salad. (See directions below). Edgar Cayce said that eating the gelatin salad was a powerful way to increase one's health, heal disease, and massively increase the uptake of nutrients from God's Best Foods-fruits and vegetables. Eat gelatin salads regularly to dramatically increase your health and wellness.

You may of course just make good old Jell-O. It is a wonderful nutritious dessert for you and your family, when made with beef gelatin, (see below), and the sweeteners recommended from A Course in Life.

*Fast Edgar Cayce Gelatin Salad:

Make homemade jello using beef gelatin and water.

Basic Jello: Dissolve 1 tablespoon gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water then chill. It is preferable to use beef based gelatin instead of swine based gelatin-(Beef based gelatin available on our web page). You may add A Course in Life recommended sweeteners, and/or fresh squeezed lemon juice as well.

Gelatin Salad Variation: Add fresh chopped fruit (or vegetables) before chilling, such as assorted berries if making a fruit-based gelatin salad. Or, if making a vegetable gelatin salad, you may add watercress carrots lettuce and celery, (a frequent Edgar Cayce combination recommendation).

General Gelatin Directions:

Dissolve 3-4 teaspoons of white, beef unflavored gelatin in one pint of hot water. Pour it over diced fruits, or over soaked and/or sprouted nuts and seeds, and diced or grated vegetables, (for example, cucumber, tomato, carrot or chopped onion). You may add herbs, spices, kelp and Himalayan salt. Alternatively, the gelatin may be dissolved in a smaller amount of hot water and mixed with an appropriate amount of fresh made fruit juice or fresh vegetable juice. You may also sprinkle on salads. Refrigerate gelatin salads for setting, but DO NOT refrigerate the raw gelatin power itself. Instead of commercial gelatin, a gelatinous bone or fish broth is preferable, but beef based gelatin power is acceptable, (available from a webpage- You may of course make Jell-O from beef gelatin and sweeten it with one of these sweeteners recommended by A Course in Life. Jell-O would be a great dessert.

*Gelatin aids powerfully in the absorption of vitamins and minerals and aids digestion!

***WARNING: Those sensitive to MSG should avoid gelatin.

*Do not eat pork based gelatin. Beef gelatin, which is much more preferable, is available through the Heritage Store, or our webpage-
