Description of Product
PLB MFC is a small manufacturing company that provides service to its customers on and individual basis. We have decided to branch out and make a universal product that helps people apply solid wet cattle manure at an even rate across the field. This product will be a monitor and scale that you can put on your manure spreader.
Intended Customers Need
Manure is a very valuable product these days with the rising cost in fertilizer. Farmers have used manure for fertilizer in that past but a lot of people have a problem applying it evenly across the field. This product will do the work of spreading that manure evenly across the field. For example, when too much is applied, the monitor will tell the spreader to slow down. When not enough is apply, the monitor will tell the spreader to speed up.
Why this Product Creates Value
This product will create a lot of value for the customers that by it. Farmers that purchase this technology for use on their own operation will receive the most value. They will be able to spread the manure over there farm at an even rate. This will ensure that what you want to put on will be put on. Also farmers will not over apply manure and will be able to spread it across more acres. Custom manure haulers will also need to have this product. Farmers will want the manure applied evenly and will want the technology to be used in the fields. Custom manure haulers will be forced out of business by people that use the technology if they don’t use it themselves.
Why is this product different from others already available?
This product is different because it is the only one out there made for wet solid cattle manure. As I know of there isn’t anyone else that does this except for dry chicken and liquid manure.
Possible market size and growth
The possible market size for this product could be huge. If fertilizer prices stay on the rise people will want to get the most out of there manure and this product will do that. PLB MFC could grow to be the biggest manure spreader MFC in the world if this product works and I can move it.
How I will Financially Support the Business
I already have the first monitor made and I am doing tests on it right now. What I need from you fine investors is the money to produce more and get the product moving. Once the product gets selling, we will both get back the money we have invested and more.
Who I am, and What Skill do I Have
My name is Peter L Bormann and I believe that this will be the next best product on the market. I graduated from ISU in Ag Business with a Minor in Agronomy. I believe that I will be able to take charge of this product and convince every manure hauler to have it on their machine.
Why is This a Good Time to Start
This is a good time to start this product because for rising fertilizer prices. If they stay on the rise more people will be using manure and the product will pay for itself.
Skill of my team
I will want people that take charge. I will need people from all areas including Agronomy, Ag Business, AST, Ag Engineering and others. Also I will need people that have worked around livestock and manure.
