Access via Computer

  1. Go to Gmail.com
  2. If you’re already logged into a Google account, go to your email and click on your photo/icon on the top right and click ‘Add Account’ to add a secondary account logged in.
  3. Log in with your @breakadifference.org credentials

Adding Signature

1. In your email, click on the settings crank on the top right then click on settings.

2. Scroll down to ‘Signature’

3. If you have the option select from a list of email addresses, select your @breakadifference.org email in the drop down.

4. Copy the signature below and paste it into the signature text box then customize to your own info

5. Be sure to check the box under the signature box for ‘Insert this signature before quoted text…’

6. Scroll down and click ‘Save Changes’

7. Send a test email to someone at Break A Difference to make sure it works.

Setting Default Email Font

  1. In your email, click on the settings crank on the top right then click on settings.
  2. Scroll down to ‘Default text style’
  3. Select ‘Trebuchet’ as your default font.

○ Signatures between computer vs mobile email need to be set individually; they’re different

Access via Gmail Mobile App

  1. Download or access the Gmail mobile app
  2. The application can be downloaded for free in the AppStore (Apple Devices), Google Play Store (Android Devices).
  3. Use your new @breakadifference email address and password to sign in.
  4. If you have already signed into the Gmail app with a different account, tap the menu icon at the left hand corner of the screen and use the drop-down to add a new account.

Notes

○ For Android devices, the Gmail mobile app will likely already be installed. Access it from you list of applications.

Adding Signature

  1. Tap the menu icon at the left hand corner of the screen and scroll down to access ‘Settings’.
  1. Select your @breakadifference email from the list of accounts.
  1. Under ‘General’ select ‘Signature’ (it should say”Not Set”) and copy the signature below into the box and then customize your own info.

  2. Send a test email to someone at Break A Difference to make sure it works.

Notes

○ While you can use your phone’s native email app (the one already downloaded on your device) the Gmail application offers a number of features that makes it a better choice for managing your @breakadifference email.

○ Signatures between computer vs mobile email need to be set individually; they’re different.
