He died in Nov 1814 in Saxe Gotha (Roanoke), South Carolina [or Williamson County, Tennessee]. He emigrated. Andrew and Katy moved to Williamson County, Tennessee then onto Wilkinson County, Mississippi about 1815.

He was a member of Sandy Run Church in South Carolina. He may have married a 2nd time. If so, the following children were from the 2nd marriage: Mary Ann; Elizabeth; William; Thomas; and Michael. "Provided rye to the cavalry of the State Troups. Also provided supplies to the Continental Army."

He was married to Catherine "Katy" COPPLEPOWER (daughter of ? COPPLEPOWER and Barbara OESTMAN) in 1750 in Lexington County, South Carolina.2 Catherine "Katy" COPPLEPOWER was born in 1729 in Wilkinson County, Mississippi.2 She died in 1809 in Williamson County, Tennessee.2 Andrew KAIGLER Sr and Catherine "Katy" COPPLEPOWER had the following children:

17x.Thomas KAIGLER was born about 1760.2 He was a scout in the American Revolution..2 The South Carolina records of the Revolution begin the fall of 1779, for up to that time, the State had money to pay its soldiers and Scouts. After that time, no money was available and in 1784-85, a law was passed to pay proved service after the fall of 1779. This was paid in script money, called "Indents", and everybody who had a claim filed it, unless he was in the Continental Army and then, he was paid by the United States, instead of by the state of South Carolina. These files are valuable, but many papers have been lost. In one file of James Adams, with his wife, Sarah Adams, in Saxe Gotha of Orangeburg District, is one receipt she filed in asking for pay for corn delivered. This small receipt about 2x3 inches was dated 3 Nov 1782. It was hardly legible. (To: Mrs Sarah Adams, for corn for the America Scouts and signed by Thomas Keigler). This bare and faded piece of paper is all there is to show that Thomas Kaigler was an American Scout. Thomas Kaigler, presumably was a son of Andrew and Catherine Copplepower Kaigler, since he was from Saxe Gotha, in Orangeburg District, South Carolina. He could have lost his life in service of his country, as there is no further record of him. If he ever filed a claim, the record was lost. He was not shown in the census of 1790. From Notes of Irene Norman Oliver.
