Postgraduate Application Procedures

The Department of Religious Studies offer Honours, Masters by coursework, Research Masters and PhD in Religious Studies.

Honours and coursework Master’s programmes will require you to be physically present in Cape Town as you would be required to complete coursework and attend lecturers. Research Masters and PhD studies can be done from your country of residence if you do not reside in Cape Town, but you would also need to come to campus to meet with your supervisor as and when required – while correspondents can happen via email, telephone and skype you need to have face-time with your supervisor during the period of your studies. We also have PG seminars and events which would require your presence if you reside in Cape Town. Should you be interested in pursuing your PG studies the following procedure needs to be followed:
