RPL Options

(1)RPL for Access:

  • If you have a Grade 12 National Senior Certificate but do not meet the minimum admission requirements for Diploma: HRM = complete this screening questionnaire + submit detailed Curriculum Vitae with certified certificates and letter from employer confirming job position.
  • If you do not have Grade 12 = complete this screening questionnaire + compile detailed portfolio of evidence (POE).
  • Depending on the evidence (POE), additional interviews and assessments may be required.
  • Access may be granted for admission to 1st year of a qualification only.

(2)RPL for Subject Exemption:

If you want advancement within a qualification via subject exemption/recognition based on your prior formal learning (e.g. other Higher Education qualification) = complete this screening questionnaire + submit subject syllabus and academic record from previous institution = credit transfer.

Please note: credit transfer is limited to 50% of a qualification.

If you want advancement within a qualification via subject exemption/recognition based on your prior non-formal learning (e.g. informal learning) = complete this screening questionnaire + compile detailed POE.

Depending on the evidence, additional interviews and assessments may be required.
