Responding to Child Abuse & Neglect 2015

This course will provide you with the opportunity to:
·  understand your legal obligations for reporting abuse and neglect as prescribed by the Children and Young People Act 2008;
·  achieve shared understandings of what constitutes child abuse and neglect;
·  consider your role as part of a community approach to responding to abuse and neglect;
·  discuss what is meant by ‘informed reporting’ of abuse and neglect
