July 2014 Meeting Minutes
Meeting Called to order at 8:05 pm
Attendees: Jim Long, Nicole Stavely, George Strohlein, Jim Mesisca, Chris Delliponti, Sean McLoughlin, Mike Weaver, Rob Smith, Mike Otto, John Meiluta, Frank Shreader, Allan Croly, Kevin Meldrum, Sergio Iacovitti, Terence Bogie,Jack Robinson, Mike Roccato, Krista Mucciolo.
June Minutes approved by George Strohlein and second by Allan Croly. Minutes filed.
Uniforms
Uniform delivery from MBM by the middle of August. First deposit for the uniforms is due by August 1st. We will schedule a room at the Municipal Building for uniform pickup.. Balance of money due at time of pickup. More information to follow when we get a confirmed delivery date.
Fields
Vermes is closed for the summer. Duetsch open and fields look good.
Snack Bar
We are looking for a volunteer to run the snack bar. Please email George Strohlein if anyone is interested.
Greivance Committee
Sean MCLouglin and Kevin Meldrum have volunteered. This was approved by the board during the meeting.
Permits
George working on permits with the township.Should be in place by August 1.
Union Tickets
Vermes night at the Union Game is in October 18th at 7:00 pm. Tickets should sell for $40.00 which would include food during tailgating party. As part of our Union package, we will be having Flag Kids on the sidelines.. We will sell the chances for $5.00. If you are interested in tickets for this game, please contact Sean.
We will have Union Night at Vermes Field on Thursday, August 28th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The following vendors are secured for the evening of August 28th: Meadows, The Head Band Company, Bella Pizza, Throw Backs and Gary Catrambone (DJ). Chances for the Flag Kids will be on sale for $5.00 during the event.
Lights
All lights will need to be checked at Vermes for bulbs out and fuel…
Boys Rep
Rob handed out a SJSl Informational sheet which I have attached. Ratings on website July 19th. September 2 mandatory meeting for all coaches. Schedules will be posted inAugust.
Girls Rep
Mandatory meeting August 25. Schedules will be posted after the meeting. October 4 is Yum Kipper, if you need a TBR, please let Allan know asap. The season begins on September 6 and ends on November 15.
Coaching Director
All teams must submit their trainer’s credentials to Mike Otto before start of the season. All must be approved..
Fundraisers
The beef n beer is scheduled for Friday, October 10 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm at Touch of Class in Maple Shade. Each team is responsible to sell 10 tickets and provide a basket. The tickets will be $30.00 per person... Please discuss with your parents what type of basket and email Nicole Stavely.
Practice Schedule
Please be sure to get your practice times to George so he can develop the schedule.
