- Must administer NET Entrance Examination for Prospective Students, ERI-CAP Exams,

and registering the current students for the Evolve-Elsevier online resources.

- Must coordinate the school activities with the President and the School Administrator.

- Maintain absolute confidentiality of the school and administrative information and such information may not be shared with any person that is not a member of the executive committee.

-Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the program director or school.

- Supervises and give directives to the Assistant Program Director and Faculty Members

Job Summary:

Under the direction and guidance of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director. This position is responsible for the overall provision of classroom and clinical instruction in Health Care Training Programs; including delegated instructions and lectures. Instructors must update their skills to keep abreast with current information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Must have knowledge of Delaware Department of Health and the Delaware Board of Nursing rules, regulations and guidelines for nursing education.

-Must have knowledge and skill in modern educational technology

-Must have ability to provide guidance, consultation and direction of students

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under general direction, performs professional and technical administrative duties and responsibilities in personnel, payroll, records management, purchasing and accounting and provides secretarial services to the President, Administrator, Program Director in a school and administrative environment.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
This class is distinguished by its responsibility for the office management and related administrative activities of the Authority under policy guidelines established by the President and the Administrator.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

Performs a wide variety of administrative and secretarial duties and assists the General Manager and Operations and Maintenance Manager in the conduct of the Authority’s business operations.
Assists in the preparation of Meetings agendas, resolutions and reports; attends General and faculty meetings and prepares, distributes and maintains the minutes thereof.
Administers personnel programs including contacts with the Administration of the Nursing Program regarding retirement, health and related benefit programs; performs salary and benefit surveys and conducts special studies as directed.
Reviews and revises administrative manuals, policies and records as required by changes in Federal and State regulations.
Performs confidential secretarial duties and responsibilities for the President, Administrator, Program Director and for Faculty members as needed including scheduling of meetings and arranging travel.
Assists in the preparation of the budget.
Responsible for the preparation of payroll and accounts receivable and payable.
Maintains files and records utilizing a specialized computer database system.
Prepares letters, memoranda and miscellaneous correspondence.
